MY BIO
Norma Alicia Moreno, MSW, LCSW
I am trained and certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and trained in CBT for PTSD. I completed several trauma-focused trainings such as Daniel Siegel’s Interpersonal Neurobiology theory (IPNB) and Mindsight and Francine Shapiro's Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy with the goal of becoming an EMDR certified practitioner. In addition, I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), New Jersey Chapter.

CLIENT FOLLOW-UP
I am committed to provide a client-centered service. Therefore, I work with TherapyPortal's Online Client Schedule service. This service will allow you the ability to request, cancel and reschedule appointments at any time without needing to contact my office directly. You can easily view my availability, request appointment times and manage your upcoming appointments.
VIRTUAL TREATMENT
Therapy sessions are conducted in-person and virtually through platforms such as TherapyPortal.com and remotEMDR.com. You will be able to attend your sessions from the comfort of your own home.
By using HIPAA compliant Telehealth video conferencing platforms, I can connect with you to work on developing coping skills, identifying feelings and triggers, and understand how anxiety, anger and depression affect our brain.
